“I’m here often, and live close-by. I can imagine, if Penn Avenue is narrowed to one lane and a bike lane, that the Strip District will be permanently damaged. There will be traffic jams, pedestrian accidents (both bicycle and vehicle), angry and therefore dangerous drivers, and a general demise to one of the remaining unique parts of Pittsburgh.
Please don’t let Mayor Gainey override other authorities and ruin the Strip.”
