“Anyone who has driven in the strip knows that cars will randomly stop and put on their flashers. If you reduce this to 1 lane, I feel it will not only cause more congestion on the roadway, but it will also cause more accidents. Another problem I think would happen would be with emergency personnel and vehicles. You will limit their ability to get to wherever they need quickly. While I understand you are trying to make it safer for people walking, you will be taking away the ease of visiting and shopping the strip.”
