“I was born in the Strip, baptized at St. Patrick's Church, have shopped there all my life. Changing a main street to make accommodations for the few bikers who use it on a daily basis, while ignoring the needs of businesses that make the Strip district a thriving market and tourist area, does not make sense! Once approved, these changes will be in effect year round. How many bikers are out there in the winter?? Face it! Pittsburgh is not a bike riding city and cannot be forced to be one. Don't let BIKE Pgh run our city planning or ruin the strip! BTW has anyone ever counted the biker riders on a daily basis? I think not.”
