“Hell no! DOMi and Bike PGh are 100% wrong on this one. There is no need for a bike lane here, I bike through the strip regularly on Smallman St, it’s much wider and safer. DOMI is out of control the last few years with bike lanes and traffic calming. They pay no attention to community input unless it’s those that agree with them.
Bike PGH, DOMI and Council woman Barb Warwick want the City to be so congested the only option is to ride a bike or public transit. We tried that once in East Liberty years ago and it destroyed the business district.”
